Germany (82.9 million inhabitants) represents the largest economy in Europe and is the Netherlands’ most important trading partner by far. The country’s prosperity and geographic proximity offer plenty of opportunities for Dutch entrepreneurs. We focus primarily on two economic powerhouses in Germany: Bavaria, an innovation hub in southern Germany, and the border region of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). We have our own Utrecht Region representative in NRW, advising businesses that want to expand to this region.
